I’m just going to tell you now, this all has very little to do with beards. Beard & Brush was founded to reinforce the presence of painting-related art criticism in New York City and in doing so, presents exhibition reviews, artist interviews, and related online ephemera. A wide range of material is posted, from historical musings to the latest chatter about paintings that are barely dry. It is our mission to contextualize painting in a forward-thinking and inclusive way.
